Day 3 - What brings me down

necessary-defeats:

The thing about diabetes that really gets me down is that no matter how hard I try to keep on top of it, diabetes will always find a way to mess things up. The tiniest thing can cause my blood sugars to go crazy, and I think itโ€™s the uncertainty of it all that really gets me down. There is no โ€˜rightโ€™ thing to do with diabetes. Like, what worked yesterday will not necessarily work today.

Couldn’t have said it better myself!๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™Œ on point!

An advice mallard meme of what happened to me last night. If you wake up and feel fine, don’t try and go back to sleep right away, you are probably low. Anyone else have nighttime lows without any tell-tale symptoms right when they wake up? - Meredith

I always have the same dream, it’s so weird too! I always am riding a tricycle on the top of my aunt’s roof and I fall off and wake up, haha! :)

I wake up in a literal pool of sweat… like I can wring my T-shirt and sheets out sweat. I’m a ridiculously deep sleeper so if anything manages to wake me up, I just assume it’s a diabetes thing.

Sometimes when I’m about to go to bed , I feel normal. I’m not showing any symptoms of a low but I will have a realllllly hard time falling asleep. So then after 30 minutes of trying To go to sleep I test and I am 99% of the time low. It’s so weird how it works!
